1. What Cosmopedia is

Cosmopedia is a free, read-only aggregator that pulls publicly available content from several Cosmos sources into one place: the Cosmos Hub forum, documentation, GitHub discussions, issues and releases, security advisories and incident write-ups, specs, ADRs and audits, whitepapers, blog posts, video transcripts, and live chain data read from a Cosmos Hub node and the public chain registries. You can search across all of it on the site, through the REST API or through the MCP server.

Cosmopedia is run by Unity Nodes as a convenience for the community. It is not affiliated with the Interchain Foundation, Cosmos Labs, or any other organization in the official Cosmos ecosystem.

By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use it.

2. Source content stays with its owners

Every forum post, doc page, issue, release note and announcement displayed on Cosmopediabelongs to its original author or publisher. We aggregate and re-display it under fair-use / community-knowledge principles and always link back to the source. Nothing on Cosmopedia transfers copyright or grants new rights to anyone. Text posted to the Cosmos Hub forum is licensed by its authors under CC BY-NC-SA 3.0: we quote it briefly, with attribution and a link back.

How much of a source we reproduce is decided per source rather than page by page. Some are indexed and cited at length, some are shown as a short quote with a link, and some are listed by title and link only. The list of sources is at /sources; if you hold rights in something here and want it handled differently, use the contact form and we will change it or remove it.

The Cosmopedia layout, design, and original code (the aggregator itself) is © 2026 Unity Nodes.

3. Acceptable use

Automated use is what the API and the MCP server are for, and agents, crawlers and scripted clients are welcome within the published rate limits, which every response reports in its RateLimit-* headers. Read /AGENTS.md first: it says where the machine-readable interfaces are, so nobody has to scrape the HTML.

Please don't:

• Work around rate limits, or spread a bulk pull across addresses to defeat them.
• Scrape the rendered pages when an API endpoint returns the same data.
• Submit other people's personal data, secrets, or confidential material.
• Use the site to produce illegal or harmful content.

We may block traffic that violates this without notice.

4. Not advice, and not the chain

Everything here is for information. Governance text, upgrade schedules, validator figures, token prices and security advisories are copies of what a source said when we fetched it, and a copy can be stale, partial or wrong. Nothing on Cosmopedia is financial, investment, legal or security advice.

Before you vote, upgrade a node, move funds or act on an advisory, check the original: the chain itself, the official repository, or the publisher we link to. We are unofficial, and we would rather you verify than trust us.

5. No warranty, no liability

The site is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uptime, accuracy, completeness, or fit for any purpose. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Unity Nodes is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site.

6. Changes

We may modify or shut down any part of the service at any time. We don't commit to preserving historical content, keeping an index, or holding an API or MCP tool at the shape it has today.
