Cosmos Hub - Impact on Zones' dependence on Hub

Hello Team,

Since all the cross-chain transactions goes through the Cosmos Hub, does that mean if an unexpected event occurred on the Cosmos Hub, will it have an impact on all the cross-chain transactions between the zones that are connected to it?
