Dec 2019 1We’ve published a proposal for using Tendermint KMS in conjunction with account keys for the purposes of transaction signing using KMS (+ HSM)-backed keys.
The intended use cases are price oracles or backup multisig keys for e.g. governance voting.

Presently Tendermint KMS only supports signing consensus proposals/votes. That said, the prerequisites are all in place, both in the tendermint crate...
