VoidStake — Powered by the Sun, Built for the People Who Are New Here Hello, Cosmonauts. We are VoidStake , and our validator runs on sunlight. That is not a tagline we reverse-engineered for a forum post. It is the reason the infrastructure is laid out the way it is. Our validator servers draw their electricity from solar panels installed on-site — the energy securing the Cosmos Hub is, quite literally, generated by the sun above the machines doing the signing. We have been in the active set for a while now and have never introduced ourselves properly. This is us fixing that. Two things we care about that most validators don’t talk about 1. The energy actually has to come from somewhere Proof-of-Stake already consumes a fraction of what Proof-of-Work does, and the ecosystem has gotten comfortable leaving the argument there. We think that is an incomplete answer. “Better than Bitcoin” is a low bar, and it says nothing about where any individual validator’s power is coming from. So we generate ours on-site.
