Overview BitBadges is a project aiming to drive the adoption of Cosmos with one mission: build the best tokenization standard ever seen and make it exclusively available as a Cosmos module. Cosmos sells software-as-a-service, but it is incomplete without offering a state-of-the-art solution for the main primitive of all of crypto (tokenization). The next 5 years are about advanced tokenization (e.g. Project Crypto) and tokenizing everything. What better way to onboard developers and institutions to Cosmos than offer a 1000x tokenization experience that is Cosmos exclusive ? This is what BitBadges has built. We have spent the last 2+ years building out the BitBadges blockchain and x/badges module from the ground up to be the most state-of-the-art tokenization standard ever seen. BitBadges’ development has now been completed. Our blockchain, standard, module, and everything is live and in production. We are ready to launch our chaosnet / beta testing period and would love to do it strategically with the help of ICL and the Hub. Why are you coming to the CP rather than raising funds from VCs?
This is a draft proposal and is meant for discussion. If it is ultimately not of interest to the Hub, that is okay. That is what the discussion is for. We also are open to alternate paths like mentioned at the bottom of the post if you have any in mind.
I also do understand that recent CP proposals have had a problem of being low value-add, and it is totally warranted that the CP feels it needs to have high standards. In our opinion, we meet those standards as explained in the post. Most notably, unlike other requests for grants or development, we offer a lot in return (~60% of BADGE supply to CP / ATOM holders).
ICL made clear that we had enough community pool spent proposals. No more funding. I feel like anyone who comes here should at least have checked the temperature.

Sorry I didn’t fully understand the temperature with regards to funding. That was probably a misstep.
I will say though that our proposal is much, much more about the second part of the proposal (airdrop / chaosnet launch) than the funding itself. We think we offer a lot to Cosmos as explained in the post and would love to establish a strategic partnership with ATOM holders. Whether that is via an airdrop, alternate path forward, or even an eventually deployment on the Hub, we are really open to epxloring all options. That is what this discussion is for.
Everyone can collaborate and work close with Atom holders at all times.
I have a weird feeling about you coming here, with no investor / partnership or anything. Btw, I didn’t read the proposal at all and have no clue what you offer. There’s just certain red flags I am pointing out.
That’s totally fair. We have not taken the traditional route with regards to building a brand, VCs, or anything. The team is just myself, and it has been just me heads-down building in private for the past 2 years. Now, we are ready to launch.
Yes, that may seem shady on first glance, but I encourage you to read the post and understand all that we offer. I think the value-add, amount of work, and amount of innovation we put in speaks for itself.
This proposal is also backwards in the fact that development is already completed. If you don’t believe us, go check the code, chain, and product live in beta today.
Why are you talking like your team consists of many devs when you’re also saying that it’s just you?
Sorry, I won’t look any further. The path forward for the community pool has been explained pretty clear, and I don’t see exceptions going to be made.
What you can do is reach out to Nico or Mag from ICL and maybe present what you offer. But yea, hard no for me.
