“Re-built,” I (can) agree - which is why I believe it’s important to “…collective double-down…” on this draft together, buidl/rip it apart together while we are still relatively early regarding crypto adoption.
The founder humbly posted, announced that this draft was on github for the community to engage with as a starting point. He basically did the work for us! But unfortunately the Cold Shoulder Act was birthed. Valid reasons of course! As to the “why” from that side are valid, as I can personally relate with my own parallel versions of his reality. Again, sincerely appreciate your voice on this matter, Tom! What is empathy towards a founder (which, is NO easy feat, right?) who created the literal foundation of this economy.
To ensure we are fighting for the longevity of Cosmos as a whole, for a fully secured future for users/devs from all walks of life that are and are to come, we need to finalize it - and why not here

Here are thoughts shared by Jacob G. from Notional. this king. _ I agree that the hub needs a constitution. I’m happy to have a look at that one but probably not today, I am working on a number of software patches. If I were going to take a stab at creating a constitution for the hub, I would be looking to create something that: • Retains the present economic model • Encourages the practice of forking in times of political disagreement or turmoil • Guides the hub itself to the most minimal possible code base • brings features to the AEZ atomically • Keeps quorum where it is (it’s a parameter anyhow iirc) • eliminates abstain • Preserves veto for only the following governance proposal types: • client update • software upgrade • ICS consumer chain addition I don’t know if these ideas are interesting or jibe with the a1 constitution but that’s approximately where I’d drive things. On the ever controversial issue of CosmWasm on the hub, I’ll restate my preference matrix, which I think is pretty well in line with most folks building in cosmos: • mesh in go and no contracts • CosmWasm in go and only mesh or infra contracts • CosmWasm in rust and only mesh…

Hey guys I wanted to provide feedback on this document because I think that having a constitution is in fact very important. I think that this document suffers from many of the problems that atom 2.0 suffered from. While the intention is of course quite different, this style is very similar. I would like to request that as @tom suggests, we scrap this text. As a show or good faith, really happy to collaborate with the atom one authors dramatically simplifying the document. I think that the current form of this constitution is much too wordy and difficult to understand to be terribly useful as the hubs constitution, because I don’t think that people could easily read and comprehend it . My suggestion is that we reduce the text to not more than a half page. I have found myself in the position of agreeing with the authors of Adam one on a number of important topics. Of these topics, likely the most important one is an insistence on minimalism. The hub doesn’t do anything explicitly, and that is fantastic. To ensure maximum stability and therefore maximum value growth in the consumer chains around the hub, I think that we need to reduce complexity everywhere, including…
